I have done more than 25 Theatre Sets for the Keegan Theatre Company and several other professional theatre groups in and around Washington, DC. |
My approach to each set is to give the Director what he wants, but see the design as an ART INSTALLATION, a work unto itself. (and then hope those pesky actors don't get in the way too much!) I get the first 30 seconds of "Wow!" and then the play's the thing |
More than just designing these sets, I also did the scenic painting and most, if not all, the set construction involved. |
